Windows 8 Running on a Coffee Table – Video

There was a time when the Surface wasn’t just a tablet competing with the iPad. It was actually a very exciting device that looked like a table and featured a huge touchscreen device.

It was running a Windows operating system and although it was mostly considered useless, the device actually served as a way to show everybody how much you can do with such a gigantic touchscreen.

The editors over at Gizmodo Australia write that one of the lucky Surface Table owners has managed to replace the preinstalled Windows 7 operating system with the new Windows 8.

As far we can tell, it all looks unbelievably great and playing Fruit Ninja on such a large screen is like you’d slice some fruits in real-life with a sword. Just watch the clip and let us know what you think.
