Windows 8 Is Microsoft’s Most Tested Pre-Release Product

Microsoft will soon launch the final version of Windows 8, but the new operating system enjoys a great success even though it’s still in beta stage.

The Redmond-based technology company said in a blog post that Windows 8 is the most tested pre-release product ever released by Microsoft, emphasizing that the huge number of early adopters is the first sign that this is going to be a very successful product.

“Across all the milestones we’ve announced for this reimagined version of the world’s best-selling operating system – Windows 8 is the most widely used and tested pre-release product we’ve ever delivered,” the company explained.

Of course, no official figures have been provided, but earlier this year it was reported that the Windows 8 Consumer Preview was downloaded by more than 1 million users only in its first day of availability.
