Windows 8 Glaciers Panoramic Theme Available to Download

The customization frenzy continues in the Redmond campus, as Microsoft has just released the Glaciers Panoramic theme for Windows 8.

Basically a free Windows 8 theme that brings icebergs on your desktop, this high-resolution wallpaper package comprises a total of six different backgrounds, all of them compatible with both Windows 8 and Windows RT.

The theme comes with dual-monitor support, so in case you’re using more than one monitor, all wallpapers are automatically extended to fit both of them.

“The northern lights flicker over Iceland, icebergs fill a glacial lake in Alaska, ice formations stand like statues in Argentina. The otherworldly beauty of glaciers is featured in this free panoramic theme for Windows 8 and Windows RT, designed to extend across dual monitors,” Microsoft wrote in the official description of the theme.
