There are no less than three flavors of Windows Developer Preview available for download for early adopters around the world. But at the same time, Microsoft is offering additional downloads, access to these resources is somewhat limited. Essentially, only testers with a valid MSDN subscription can get their hands on all of the Windows Developer Preview releases beyond Build 8102 Milestone 3 (M3).

Windows Developer Preview with Developer Tools and Apps (x64) - DVD (English), Windows Developer Preview with Apps (x86) - DVD (English) and Windows Developer Preview with Apps (x64) - DVD (English) are the three copies of Windows 8 Build 8102 M3 which all testers can download from Microsoft.

7 more downloads are live on MSDN, but offered only to subscribers. For example, a subscription to the Redmond company’s developer portal offers early adopters Update for Windows Developer Preview (KB2619246) (x64) - MSU (English) and Update for Windows Developer Preview (KB2619246) (x86) - MSU (English).

The refresh is designed to deal with the following issue, according to the software giant: “Network connectivity is lost after rebalance when using a server such as Dell 410/710 with Broadcom LOM and Intel x520 NIC adapters installed in a PCIe slot.”

Developers can also grab Windows Developer Preview WDK (x86 and x64) - (English) via MSDN, and they might have recognized a new version of the Windows Driver Kit.

There’s also a new version of the Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (Windows ADK) available to MSDN subscribers, namely Windows Developer Preview ADK (x86 and x64) - (English).

The downloads mentioned above are accompanied by Windows Developer Preview Symbols (x64) - (English) and Windows Developer Preview Symbols (x86) - (English), as well as a new version of the Windows Driver Foundation - Windows Developer Preview WDF Co-Installer (x86 and x64) - (English).

Windows 8 Developer Preview Build 8102 Milestone 3 (M3) is available for download here.
