Allrecipes is one of the most advanced recipe apps in the Windows Store, providing quite a large collection of guides, photos, reviews and ratings.

The developing team says the app includes more than 50,000 recipes right now and more are added weekly. The feature lineup includes options to search recipes by ingredient, dish type, and dietary preferences, while you are also allowed to email, pin, post, print, and share your favorite recipes.

“Get fresh recipe ideas from the Allrecipes community of more than 30 million home cooks! Search for recipes based on what’s in your fridge, or get inspired by seasonal dishes that change daily. Use recipe photos, ratings, and reviews to help you decide. Then, save your favorites to your Recipe Box and share them with friends!” the app description published in the store reads.

Of course, Allrecipes works on both desktops and tablets running Windows 8 and also boasts support for Windows RT, Microsoft's very own platform powering ARM devices, such as the Surface RT.

The app is completely free and does not display advertisements throughout its interface, which makes it a pretty clean choice for those who have already installed Windows 8. An account is however needed if you'd like to publish a new review.

Overall, this is clearly one of the best apps of its kind, so go ahead and download Allrecipes for Windows 8 to see what it's up to.
