This is what the Start screen of a potential new 8.2 OS update could look like

Windows 8.1 is just around the corner and some people think that a second update called 8.2 could follow as soon as next year.

Even though Microsoft hasn’t publicly talked about such a project, designers are hard at work to create concepts showing some of the features that could be implemented into Windows 8.2.

As you can see in this screenshot, the Start screen concept created by DeviantArt user 34moiso shows a redesigned UI that sports the same tile-based look, but with a number of improvements.

The Start screen is now divided into several sections, including apps and notifications, which can be easily accessed by swiping left or right. A status bar is also offered to display the number of notifications, time, date, active connections, and battery status.

Microsoft will most likely ignore this concept, but feel free to express your thought on it using the comment box below.
