In addition to a Start button and many other improvements, Windows 8.1 will also feature what is being called a “Reading List,” according to some unconfirmed reports.

Basically, Reading List is an application that allows users to save links and specific pieces of text for later access, offering synchronization features for multiple Windows 8 devices configured with the same Microsoft account.

In addition, such an option would pretty much play the role of a share tool that only works for a specific user, Engadget writes.

Saving links will be possible through the Share Charm, while the app itself will allow users to browse the saved content just as they do it on the Start Screen. Reading List was most likely designed to be launched in Snap View, side by side with other apps, such as browsers and mail clients.
