As I’ve told you only a few hours ago, Windows 8.1 Update 1 Build 9600.16596 has recently been compiled, with a leaked ISO expected anytime soon.

It turns out that the first screenshots showing this particular build are now available, as Windows leaker WZOR has published several photos on his website only a few minutes ago.

As you can see in these screenshots, they do not show any major feature update, but they actually confirm that Microsoft has completed development of a new build of the upcoming Windows 8.1 Update 1, so it’s pretty clear that we’re getting closer to the public launch.

Windows 8.1 Update is scheduled to be launched in April at the BUILD developer conference and is expected to be offered to Windows 8.1 users free of charge via the integrated Windows Update.
