Windows 8.1 Update 1 is scheduled to make its public debut at the BUILD developer conference in April, but leaked ISOs are expected to reach the web sometime this month.
In the meantime, WZOR, who is one of the main leakers behind several Windows projects launched in the last few years, published a new screenshot showing Windows 8.1 Update 1 in action on Twitter.
Even though no important changes can be seen in this screenshot, it does show that Windows 8.1 Update 1 Build 9600.16593 has recently been compiled, so we’re indeed getting really close to a public launch.
WZOR claims that this particular version has been compiled on January 3, which means that manufacturers are most likely testing it already, as Redmond plans to submit the testing build of its update to partners in time for the April launch.
