14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has designed the Start screen to be a much more useful alternative for the Start Menu, so the new live tiles can display real-time information without the need for launching the associated apps.
A new concept designed by DeviantArt user wifun2012 envisions an even more helpful Start screen that includes a music app live tile to display the artist you’re currently playing, as well as video tiles with a miniature of the loaded clip.
In addition, the Facebook tile shows the profile picture of the contact who sends you a notification, while the Twitter tile displays the 2 last tweets you are mentioned in.
Of course, this is only a concept, but chances are that such improvements could be implemented at some point, especially because Microsoft wants consumers to get used to the Start screen faster.
