One more Metro app will be redesigned for Windows 8.1

As I’ve told you during the weekend, the Windows Store is now open for all users who previously installed one of the leaked Windows 8.1 builds, so downloading Metro apps is now possible too.

A new set of screenshots that reached the web a few hours ago confirms that Xbox Music will also be redesigned in Windows 8.1 for a more appealing look, but new features are also very likely.

Only little is known at this point about the Music app update, so it’s not yet clear if Microsoft plans to offer it as a pre-installed Metro tool on Windows 8.1 Preview or users are required to manually update it via the Windows Store.

More details, however, are expected to be provided in just a few days, as we’re getting really close to the official launch of Windows 8.1 Preview scheduled to take place on June 26.
