We’re only two days away from the public launch of Windows 8.1 Preview, so more information emerges on the future Windows 8 updated.

It appears that users will be allowed to remove a Metro application from either the local computer or from all synced devices, be they desktop computers, laptops, or tablets.

Of course, it’s all possible with the help of a Microsoft account and only if the app synchronization feature is enabled in the Windows 8.1 Control Panel.

“This app and its related info will be removed from all your synced PCs,” the displayed message reads. An option to uninstall the app on the local PC is also available.

Microsoft hasn’t yet commented on this feature, but expect more details to be provided after the new Windows 8.1 Preview goes live at the BUILD developer conference on June 26.
