14 DAY TRIAL // Windows 8.1 Preview is being delivered with a built-in SkyDrive Metro app that serves as a file manager for both locally stored items and those saved in the cloud.
It turns out that some users are experiencing issues with this particular app, as it doesn’t launch on a number of computers running the 8.1 Preview.
“I am running Windows 8.1 fully updated. As soon as i launch the SkyDrive app from the start screen it acts like it is going to start the shuts down and I am back to the Start screen again,” one user explained.
Microsoft claims that this is a known bug, so expect new fixes to address the issue in the coming weeks. Of course, all these problems are supposed to be patched before the final version of the OS update comes out in August.
