14 DAY TRIAL // Since it’s still in Preview form, Windows 8.1 comes with lots of bugs, some of which affect the overall functionality of the first Windows 8 overhaul.
This time, users are reporting issues with function keys, as none of them seems to be working after deploying Windows 8.1 Preview.
The software maker explained in a statement that it’s already looking into the issue, and first reports indicate that the bug is affecting Samsung, Asus, and Toshiba devices.
“Thank you everyone for reporting the issue. We are investigating the issue and have contacted and are working with Partners (Samsung, Asus, Toshiba) to fix this issue. Apologize for the inconvenience,” a company representative explained in a short post on the official support forums.
Microsoft is now releasing Windows 8.1 Preview updates on a regular basis, so expect more bug fixes to be unveiled anytime soon.
