Microsoft today released a brand new version of the Music app integrated into Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1, so all users running the new OS build should get the update via the store.

The software giant hasn’t released some official details on this new build, so we can only assume that it’s focused on bugs and performance issues, which means that slight improvements should be noticed after deploying the update.

As you probably know if you’re a Windows 8.1 user, app updates are automatically downloaded and installed on your computer, so in case you haven’t changed the default configuration, the new version might already be there.

As mentioned, the new version of the app is being delivered right now to desktops and tablets running the new OS build, but you can also download Music for Windows 8.1 manually to see what’s new.
