A few screenshots that reached the web a few hours ago confirm that Microsoft is working on a Windows 8 upgrade, even though they make no reference to the Blue or 8.1 designations.

Published on WinForum.eu, the new screenshots indicate that build 9369 is currently under development, so it could hit the market as Windows 8.1 sometime this summer.

While they do not reveal any new feature to be part of the next Windows release, the photos confirm that Internet Explorer 11 will be included in this upgrade, along with a few other tools that we presented to you last week, just after the early build of Blue got leaked.

As for the release date, there’s still no info on this, but if previous reports are true, expect Windows 8.1 to see daylight as a public beta in June and as a final product in August.
