Microsoft continues work on the next Windows release, with sources familiar with the matter now pointing that a new build is very likely to be released for download today.

Screenshots showing Windows 8.1 / Blue build 9385 reached the web approximately one week ago, indicating that the tech giant still tries to refine some of the features to be introduced with this new release.

There’s no sign of a Start button or an option to skip the Start Screen just yet, but a bunch of insiders previously suggested that Microsoft was pondering the debut of both options this summer.

As for build 9385, Microsoft partners and a number of select users are already testing it as we speak, as the tech giant is struggling to make the public beta ready for the BUILD developer conference in June.
