There’s no doubt that Windows 7 remains the most popular operating system in the world, but it seems like IT workers are also pleased with the features available in Microsoft’s latest Windows version with a Start button.

According to a new study conducted by Forrester and published by VentureBeat, Windows 7 is still running on 47.5 percent of computers used by enterprises, while Windows XP is the number one choice of 38.2 percent.

Unsurprisingly, Apple also has its very own fans in this particular industry sector, as 7.2 percent of the IT managers included in the study admitted they are running OS X.

Windows 8 is not even included in the rankings, as Microsoft’s latest operating system is yet to make a name for itself in the enterprise market and convince XP and 7 users to upgrade.
