Microsoft is letting users running the latest iteration of the Windows client share their experiences with the world. Essentially, the Redmond company is making TechNet Magazine a medium through which Windows 7 users can publish tips and tricks on the operating system. Content judged worth of publication will find its way to the TechNet Magazine Tips Windows 7 section.

“TechNet Magazine is relaunching its popular Tip of the Day feature, starting with a look at the best tips and tricks for Windows 7. Now we want to hear from you. Have a special workaround, tweak, or fix you’d like to contribute to the TechNet Magazine tips library? Just visit www.technetmagazinetips.com to share your tips and tricks for Windows 7,” revealed a Microsoft representative.

“Share your best tips and tricks for Windows 7 with your peers!” sounds the invitation from the software giant for all Windows 7 users. However, customers must understand that not all content they share with the Redmond company will actually be published. “Not all tips or profiles submitted will be published. Microsoft reserves the right to final selection and editing at its discretion,” Microsoft underlined.

Windows 7 users are invited to describe their adoption or deployment challenge with Windows 7, as well as to document the way they solved the problem. Subsequently, Microsoft will evaluate submissions from users, and publish content under the Windows 7 Tips section of TechNet Magazine.

“Think you know Windows 7 through and through? TechNet Magazine wants to hear from the IT pros who live and breathe the desktop, the ones who know how to get the most out of Windows 7. We’re looking for the best workarounds, patches, bridges, tweaks, added functionality, easy fixes, and simple installs,” the company noted.
