Windows 7 Build 7600 is indicated to be the gold or final build of Windows Vista's successor, marking the finalization of the development process. The Redmond company has yet to confirm or deny the details related to the wrapping up of the upcoming release of Windows. In the meanwhile, Windows 7 Build 7600 has been leaked and made available for download in the wild from various illegal third-party sources including torrent trackers and warez websites.

As you can very well see from the screenshots, the leaked copy of Windows 7 Build 7600 comes packaged as a VHD image designed to be run as a guest OS in a virtual machine.
Judging by the full build string 6.1.7600.16384.win7_rtm.090710-1945, Build 7600 was compiled on July 10, 2009. It is important to note that today is July 13, a date that was speculated to be the official RTM deadline for Windows 7. Just the past week, Microsoft indicated that it would release Windows 7 to manufacturing later this month.
In this regard, there is the possibility that the software giant could compile additional RTM development milestones until it will produce the official gold build of Windows 7. However, all indications point to Build 7600 remaining unchanged. It will be the new, final assembly of Windows 7, which could be compiled today, July 13, that will be served to close partners and testers well ahead of the October 22, 2009 launch deadline.
