As it was to be expected, the launch of Microsoft's much-anticipated Windows 7 operating system is going to set loose a number of new product releases, coming to provide customers with an option for a Windows 7-powered computer system. Such is the case with an upcoming ASUS Eee PC netbook, which will apparently be launched on the same day as the aforementioned OS and will come with support for the highly appreciated Windows 7 multi-touch interface. Dubbed Eee PC T91MT, the new system has already been listed in Europe and could become available within the next couple of days.

ASUS is known for its extensive line of low-power, Atom-based computer systems, part of the company's successful Eee PC lineup. The introduction of the Eee PC T91MT isn't all that surprising, especially considering the previously leaked details that have emerged on the Internet. It now looks like some online retailers couldn't wait for October 22 to list said Eee PC model, which is how the T91MT made it on the Internet, on the page of Amazon.de.

According to the listing, the new convertible netbook will boast Intel's Atom platform and will be featured with Microsoft's Windows 7 OS. Due out on October 22, the netbook comes with an 8.9-inch display, just as on the T91 model, a 160GB hard disk drive, Intel's GMA 500 graphics chipset and 1GB of RAM. Priced at 505.98 Euro, the T91MT will most likely become available in different color options.

On a similar note, a number of netbooks running on Windows 7 have recently been listed at Amazon.com, including Acer's Aspire One D250, the HP Mini 311, Toshiba's Mini NB205, the Eee PC Seashell 1005HA, all of which have recently surfaced in leaked details on the Internet. In addition, Lenovo's NVIDIA ION-based IdeaPad S12 will also debut this week, round about the time that Windows 7 will be out.
