Windows 7 has already managed to prove a great success in the PC area, but it appears that it still has a lot to offer, especially when loaded on new, innovative machines.

With the over 500 million copies sold to date, Windows 7 is an indisputable success. Of course, Windows XP still leads in market share, though it loses ground fast to the newer platform version.

At the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Microsoft partners brought a variety of devices running under Windows, ranging from mobile phones to 80-inch interactive screens.

Some of the most appealing unveilings were related to PCs, with new ultra-light, ultra-thin devices from major labels such as Acer, ASUS, Samsung or Toshiba.

We have already had a look at some of these products courtesy of a slideshow that Microsoft published recently, but there’s more to it.

OEMs present on the floor of CES 2012 shared their thoughts on Windows 7 and on the innovative machines that have been showcased at the event.

Some of the devices demoed at CES 2012 are already available for purchase, while others are expected to hit the market in the near future. One way or the other, these are hot PCs that have a lot to offer to their users.

If you want to hear some thoughts on these great devices, have a look at the video embedded below. This is the first clip in a 2-part series, and highlights the following PCs:
