It looks like Microsoft is gearing up for the launch of a new build for Windows insiders testing Windows 10 on phones

Microsoft has only recently released Windows 10 for phones preview build 10051, but it turns out that the company is hard at work to bring out a new testing version of the mobile OS in the coming weeks.

A video coming from China and published by wpxap and allegedly showing Windows 10 for phones build 12544 reveals some of the apps that Microsoft might be implemented in the next official release for Windows insiders, including the Office productivity suite and a redesigned store.

As you most likely know if you’re a Microsoft enthusiast, the company has already confirmed that the Office productivity suite would get revamped in the next Windows 10 build for phones, so chances are that the version we see in this video is likely to be the one or very similar to the one to be shipped to insiders.

New Start screen options

While the Office productivity suite, which will be offered as part of the next build in the form of a preview, resembles the touch-based desktop version and is based on a very familiar look, it turns out that Microsoft has prepared some other big changes for its users.

For example, the settings screen, which in its turn got a major makeover for Windows 10, will provide access to a bunch of new configuration options for the Start screen, so you’ll be allowed to configure the transparency level of the tiles.

At the same time, there seems to be a redesigned Store app in this build, which is most likely part of Microsoft’s efforts to offer a unified store across all devices. As you can see in the video or in the photo gallery after the jump, the new store perfectly resembles the one on Windows 10 for PCs, so the new operating system is indeed taking shape quite quickly.

Keep in mind that this is still an unofficial version of Windows 10 for phones and there’s no indication that Microsoft could release it for users, but expect more information to be released soon as we get closer to the BUILD developer conference kicking off on April 29.
