Microsoft is yet to release a new version of Windows 10 for insiders, although that’s expected to happen anytime soon, but fortunately for those who cannot wait any longer, a new build has leaked and can be downloaded from file-sharing websites.

Windows 10 build 10147 is now available for download if you know where to look, but keep in mind that, since it is an unofficial release, Microsoft won’t provide any kind of support or assistance in case you come across bugs or performance issues.

This build got leaked from China and appears to come from a Microsoft partner. It is only available in 64-bit version for the time being.

Microsoft Edge expected to be part of it

Microsoft already confirmed a few weeks back that Edge branding was being tested internally, so build 10147 is expected to be the first to come with the new browser from the very beginning.

At this point, all the other builds that are available either via the Windows Insider program or through leaks that have reached the web in the last few weeks come with the same Project Spartan, which is the internal codename that Microsoft used for the development of the new browser.

At the same time, the new build is likely to bring small improvements in terms of looks, such as updated icons and a few touches here and there on the desktop.

Gabriel Aul, head of the Windows Insider program, previously stated that the focus was switched to bug fixing and performance improvements instead of development of new features, so build 10147 is very likely to do this too.

Windows 10 is projected to launch on July 29, but Microsoft continues work on the operating system until the very last minute, so expect another official build to be released very soon to insiders.
