Windows 10 build 10130 was released last Friday for users enrolled in the fast ring of the Windows Insider program, and Microsoft is now working to refine this build and make it available for everyone else as well.

As a result, today the company has rolled out two bug fixes to address problems in the Outlook email client and thus resolve two of the most common issues reported by users after installing the new build.

KB3069065 and KB3069066 are both being delivered to Windows 10 build 10130 users via Windows Update, and Microsoft recommends everyone to install them as soon as possible because they fix some of the biggest annoyances with the Outlook mail client in the new operating system.

What’s in these two updates?

According to the official pages of these two updates, KB3069065 comes to fix crashes experienced by Outlook during what seems to be a memory error. At the same time, Microsoft says that in most of the cases, the app fails to synchronize emails when the app is running in the background, so yes, this is quite an important patch if you really want to use Outlook on your PC.

On the other hand, KB3069066 addresses similar issues, with Microsoft providing a similar description and explaining that bugs that are causing app crashes should be fixed after installing it.

Keep in mind that these two patches are only aimed at users running Windows 10 build 10130 on their PCs, so in case you’re not already on this version, you can either update or wait for it to become available for the slow ring too.

Microsoft says that there are big chances for this to happen in the coming days because bug fixing in build 10130 is going really well these days, so it could be released to slow ring users, alongside new ISOs, anytime soon.

In the meantime, the company is internally testing build 10134 too, so it’s going to be a really busy month for Windows insiders looking to try out the latest builds prepared by Microsoft.
