Windows 10 build 10130 is the latest version of the preview that Microsoft has released for insiders, so the company is now working to improve its performance ahead of the full launch, scheduled on July 29, and of a new preview build release, likely to take place next week or very soon.

Today, the company has started shipping four different updates for Windows 10 build 10130, three of which are security fixes and are supposed to address some vulnerabilities that were discovered not only in Windows 10 but also in the previous versions of the operating system.

Here are the four updates that Microsoft has launched today:

Security Update for Windows 10 Insider Preview June Update for x64-based System (KB3070675) Security Update for Windows 10 Insider Preview June Update for x64-based Systems (KB3070641) Security Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows 10 Insider Preview June Update for x64-based Systems (KB3065820) Update for Windows 10 Insider Preview June Update for x64-based System (KB3070677)

Bug fix to help detect new Windows 10 builds

According to the official description of KB3070677, this particular patch is supposed to fix a bug causing Windows Update not to detect new builds on Core Editions of Windows 10 Insider Preview.

In case you install a Core Edition of Windows 10 Insider Preview and update to build 10130, when Microsoft ships a new version of the operating system, Windows Update does not detect the available preview builds, the company says.

This patch thus becomes mandatory if you want to update to the new builds as soon as they become available, and according to recent reports, this could happen very soon, as Microsoft is now giving the final touches to a new version.

Microsoft has already confirmed that several new Windows 10 preview builds will be released by the time RTM comes out, so expect the next few weeks to be really busy for Windows insiders.
