A new version of Windows 10 is now up for grabs

Windows 10 build 10074 is now available for download directly from Microsoft’s servers, which could be a sign that this particular version is the one the company could release at the BUILD 2015 developer conference later today.

While the company hasn’t publicly announced this new version of Windows 10, it’s believed that it plans to demo it during the first day of BUILD, before a public launch for all users enrolled in the Windows Insider program.

Surprisingly, this build also comes with a new name and is being called Windows 10 Insider Preview, so the new operating system has probably reached another important milestone in its development process and is now ready to unlock new features.

Some of the features that seem to be part of this build were disclosed earlier this week in leaked screenshots of Windows 10 build 10102, so we might get the chance to try out the new transparency effects in the Start menu and the 3D live tiles sooner than expected.

No support being offered (yet)

Keep in mind that, as is the case of any other leaked version of Windows 10 Technical Preview, no support is being offered to those who install build 10074 and come across bugs and issues. Which, by the way, are something to be expected, given the fact that the operating system is still in development.

And yet, considering that Microsoft is now preparing its official release via the standard channels, the company could start offering assistance for build 10074 anytime soon, but only after it gives the green light for everyone to download it.

In the meantime, if you’re looking for the new Windows 10 preview build, below are the official ESD download links from Microsoft’s servers, but keep in mind that you need to manually build your ISOs.
