A new Technical Preview version has leaked

Microsoft rolled out Windows 10 Technical Preview build 10049 to Windows insiders enrolled in the fast ring last week, and while the company is working to make it available for slow ring users as well, another new build reaches the web via unofficial channels.

Windows 10 build 10051 is now available for download from a number of file-sharing websites, and while we won't provide any download links (since it's not an official release), it shouldn't be too difficult to find them if you know where to look.

Right now, this new build is only available as a stand-alone ISO and only in English, and there's no indication that additional versions could be released.

It won't be shipped to Windows insiders

The biggest question related to build 10051 is whether or not the software giant plans to release it to Windows insiders in the near future.

It appears that build 10051 won't be an official release via Windows Update, as this particular build has been compiled a very short time after 10049, which is actually the very latest official version for insiders.

Microsoft compiles new builds on a daily basis, and we're hearing that a new one could be shipped to those willing to install technical previews later this month, when work on more features will be completed.

Obviously, right now it's too early to talk about the build number of the next official release, but in the meantime, those who cannot wait for it can always download and install 10051 on their PCs.

Keep in mind that ISOs can be used to perform a clean install, but it's better for now to just install it on a virtual machine to make sure that you prevent any major bug from impacting the performance of your system.

And since it's not an official release, you won't receive any kind of support from Microsoft or Gabe Aul, so you're completely on your own if something bad happens.
