14 DAY TRIAL // Windows 10 build 10014 screenshots got leaked a few hours ago and now we get to see another fresh version of Microsoft's revamped operating system that could actually provide us with a quick glimpse into the new official release for Windows insiders.
Windows 10 build 10022 is part of the fbl_impressive branch, and as Microsoft itself revealed earlier this month, the new version for Windows insiders is expected to be part of this particular channel and thus move away from fbl_awesome.
These images have been posted online by Russian leaker WZor and only reveal a few changes, all of which are expected to arrive on all computers running the Technical Preview sometime this week.
First of all, there is a new Recycle Bin icon placed on the desktop, which seems to confirm that Microsoft is indeed working to replace all icons with new ones that look fresh and modern in the final version of Windows 10. This Recycle Bin icon was also part of the build 10014 revealed in leaked screenshots a few hours ago, so chances are that it will be part of the new Windows 10 TP as well.
Release to take place this week
Gabe Aul, head of the Windows Insider program, has remained tight-lipped on the release date of the new Windows 10 Technical Preview build, but he has mentioned that it could be shipped to insiders sometime in late February.
Given the fact that this is the last week of the month, expect Windows 10 to be updated in just a few days, most likely on Wednesday.
Last week, Microsoft also rolled out a couple of patches that would correct update bugs, so all PC users should install these fixes first to make sure that the new Technical Preview build arrives on their computers as well.
Just like always, the new build will show up in Windows Update on all devices running Windows 10 Technical Preview build 9926, but dedicated ISOs for clean installs will also be provided.
