A new Recycle Bin icon is part of this build

Screenshots of what appears to be Windows 10 Technical Preview build 10014 have leaked to the web, confirming that we're getting closer to a new major update as part of the Windows Insider program.

Russian leaker WZor, who has a good track on information concerning new Microsoft products that are still in development, has posted a total of four screenshots online with Windows 10 build 10014.

Right now, it's not yet clear if this is the build that all insiders would get in the coming days, but we're hearing that Microsoft employees are already running an even newer build internally.

Minor improvements

These screenshots, which are quite small and only show the desktop, do not seem to reveal anything exciting about the upcoming Technical Preview build, except for a brand new Recycle Bin icon.

As you know, Microsoft has been working on a revamped user interface for Windows 10 for months and new icons have already been included in the latest few builds, so the new one is nothing more than a continuation of this tweak.

Aside from the new icon, there's nothing exciting about build 10014 and it still seems to rely on the same features as 9926.

Cortana is still here with its big search box integrated into the taskbar and so is the new notification center that's placed just near the System Tray clock. The new store is also pinned to the taskbar, but it's not yet clear whether it would be offered alongside the old one as in build 9926 or it could replace it completely.

Information about the release date of the new build is not yet available, but Microsoft previously said that it could launch in late February, so everybody expects it to ship next week.

Microsoft rolled out a few patches to prepare devices for the next build this week, so there's no doubt that we're very close to a new Windows 10 Technical Preview build.
