14 DAY TRIAL // Nullsoft rolled out a new beta build for Winamp 5.7. This is the 13th reiteration of the application and it includes several improvements as well as a slew of fixes.
Among the notable improvements available in build 3444 of the media player is the availability of an up/down spinner control on the Playlist configuration page, which comes in handy if you want to adjust the font size.
The fixes present in this new beta include the possibility to uninstall in the case of expired beta revisions. Also, a stability issue has been eliminated; according to the crash reports received by the developer, it occurred on the preferences page of the Visualizations plugin.
Additional repairs refer to removal of embedded artwork in the case of FLAC files, a crash that happened when calculating mediahash for badly formed WMA files and one that occurred occasionally when handling metadata of a file. The complete list of modifications is available here.
