WinZip for Windows 8 has just received a major update that brings a lot of new features, as well as important bug fixes for both desktops and tablets.
The new WinZip version now supports editing a ZIPX file, so you can also add or remove specific items from an archive.
In addition, you can add files and folders from Dropbox, SkyDrive and Google Drive to an archive, share ZIP and ZIPX files to Twitter and LinkedIn, but also unzip all items directly to these cloud-based storage services.
WinZip for Windows 8 now boasts dedicated options to manage all your ZIP file sharing accounts, including ZipShare, ZipSend, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
The interface has been updated too, while the app also comes with direct email access to the help desk for all users who need assistance.
