WinSCP has been updated to a new minor build. This release is actually a hotfix that aims to fix certain issues as well as integrate some of the repairs already available in beta build 5.0.8.

The modifications present in WinSCP 4.3.9 include automatic substitution of the FTP passive mode IP address with the connection address when passive mode address cannot be routed. Also, the upload of a modified edited remote file is now postponed in order to permit the editor to save the changes made.

Repairs in this revision refer to instruction-only authentication prompts failing when the predefined password would be used in prior prompt. On the same note, users should no longer receive an error when connecting to FTPS servers that do not support SSL session resuming.

WinScp can be downloaded from here; also available in portable form.
