I can’t think of a good reason someone would want to remove WinPatrol from their computer. But for those that really want Scotty out of the picture, the developer of the application just released a removal tool that can delete all registry entries created upon installing WinPatrol.

The utility is called WinPatrol Removal Program, which states its purpose beyond any doubt. As soon as it gets launched (no installation required), it shows a message stating its actions and the effect of continuing the procedure. WinPatrol data is not eliminated on the spot and a reboot is required to complete the uninstall mission.

WinPatrol is designed to keep an eye on the programs running on your system and report surreptitious changes. It is a simple tool that can also help you manage startup items and improve boot times.
