Win a $10,000 Server System from Microsoft

Via the Forefront Trial Download Sweepstakes, Microsoft is offering users the chance to win a $10,000 server system. The Redmond company has tied the promotion with the downloads of trial versions of its security offerings for businesses under the Forefront brand umbrella. According to the software giant, the entire value of the prizes that are up for grabs through the Forefront Trial Download Sweepstakes is $52,752.16. All the users have to do in order to get a chance to win is grab a free trial copy of one of the Forefront security solutions, and then enter the sweepstakes.

Microsoft is offering no less than three sweepstake grand prizes, each worth $10,000 and consisting of “a Server System for your home including a PowerEdge 2900 III Server, a Netgear GS108 8-port Ethernet Switch, a Dell 2408WFP 24" Ultrasharp (TM) LCD Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor, a Dell 3115cn Multifunction Color Laser Printer with 512MB memory, a Radeon HD 4870 x2 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express Graphics Card and a $700 check,” the software manufacturer informed.

In addition to this, the company is also offering 28 first place prizes, of  D-Link DNS-323 2-Bay Network Storage Enclosure, worth $229.99. Users also have the chance to win instant awards, a total of 324 $50 Best Buy gift cards. Microsoft is accepting only U.S. residents, 18 and older, as participants in the Forefront Trial Download Sweepstakes, and only those that are IT professionals. The software giant emphasized that no purchase was necessary.

“For submitting the form, you will automatically receive one Sweepstakes entry and one  Instant Win Game play for each successful free trial product download of a different product from the list of eligible products. After receiving an Instant Win Game play, you will automatically proceed to the Instant Win Game page and where the Instant Win Game results will be instantly displayed. Potential winners of the Instant Win Game will be provided directions for validation. All potential winners are subject to verification before any prize will be awarded. Administrator is responsible for the functionality of the Instant Win Game,” the company maintained.
