Microsoft is offering some rather sweet prizes for the winners of a recently launched contest designed to add extra buzz to the commercial availability of the company’s Arc Touch Mouse. The ‘Show Where You Go’ website is already live and accepting submissions as of January 25th. The first 25 entrants have automatically received the Arc Touch Mouse, but there are additional prizes up for grabs.

All that customers interested in participating have to do is share with the world a glimpse of their mobile life.

The Arc Touch Mouse is after all a peripheral designed for mobile scenarios ahead of anything else.

“Entering the contest is simple – just snap a photo of the spot that best represents your mobile lifestyle. Maybe it’s your favorite spot under a tree in your local park, or a swanky airport lounge,” a member of the Microsoft Hardware team stated.

“Feel free to get as creative as you like! Then upload it, along with an explanation of why that image best represents the mobile lifestyle you have or dream of having.

“After you enter, your friends can vote on your photo, getting you that much closer to winning a prize pack which includes the Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse. The contest officially runs from Jan. 25-March 1, 2011 and the winner will be selected based on the most number of votes received.”

Although the voting process will be opened until March, participants have only until February 22nd to enter their submissions. The software giant revealed that it plans to announce the winner by March 15th.

As far as additional prizes go, “two runners-up will receive: Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse (MSRP $70), Wireless Arc Keyboard (MSRP $49.95), Microsoft LifeCam Cinema HD Webcam (MSRP $79.95).

There will also be “one Grand Prize winner [who] will receive: Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse (MSRP $70), Asus Eee Slate EP121 preloaded with Windows 7 Home Premium (MSRP $1099.99+$199), 500 GB portable hard drive (MSRP $124), Office 2010 Home and Student (MSRP $149) and Timbuk2 Messenger Bag (MSRP $129),” Microsoft said.

The contest is opened only to US residents.
