A simple list with what else but your favorite 7 things about Windows 7 can end up winning you a free copy of the high-end SKU of the operating system.
In order to celebrate the one year anniversary of Windows 7, the Redmond company has launched a small contest offering users a chance at winning a free Windows 7 Ultimate license, provided that they put together and then detail a list with 7 things they love about the operating system.
Fact is that this shouldn’t be all that hard, after all, what’s not to love about Windows 7, right?
“To help celebrate the anniversary of Windows 7, in the comments below leave us your own list of 7 favorite Windows 7 things. It can be favorite features, favorite PCs, favorite themes, or a combination of anything you like about Windows 7!
“By leaving a comment with your list of 7 favorite Windows 7 things – I’m throwing in a chance to win a prize: a full copy of Windows 7 Ultimate and some stickers,” revealed Microsoft’s Brandon LeBlanc.
It is important to underline that all comments must be submitted to this post on the Windows Team blog: “Celebrating Windows 7 at 1 Year – More than 240 Million Licenses Sold.”
According to Microsoft, the contest is opened to users worldwide, with the exception of customers in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria.
All comments must be posted between October 21 and October 28, 2010. The winner will be announced on October 29th.
“You have from now until 8am PT Wednesday October 27th to leave a comment on this blog post with your list of 7 favorite Windows 7 things. We’ll randomly draw from the comments a winner and we’ll post a blog post with the winner’s name and their list on Friday October 29th,” LeBlanc added.
“Remember – keep your list to 7 and keep the list on topic and appropriate to Windows 7. You should also explain why each item on your list is a favorite.”
