Sounds awesome, right? Wait till you see how the game looks and works. Best of all, there’s no waiting for your opponents to take their turn. “In TurtleStrike both players take their turns at the same time. It is ultimate game of wits and speed,” according to eeGon.
The game starts off with a neat tutorial which takes you through the motions. You really need to pay attention to the on-screen instructions (especially if you’re on an iPhone), because it’s not the easiest game I’ve had the pleasure of testing. But it looks like loads of fun for turn-based multiplayer fans, so I highly recommend grabbing the free version.
And check this. eeGon is so eager to have everyone give TurtleStrike a go that they’ve made it compatible with virtually every iPhone and iPod touch out there, as well as iPads.
The title requires only iOS 3.1.3 (or so says the Requirements section up on iTunes), which is the last iOS version that the first wave of iDevices can handle. That includes the original iPhone and iPod touch.
