Wilson Electronics, a leading manufacturer of mobile phone amplifiers and antennas has announced the release of their latest product,
the Wilson SIGNALBOOST, which is a dual-band amplifier that is meant to increase the cellular signal 10 to 15 times for both voice and data services.

It comes with the universal-connect signal adapter, a six-foot extension cable and a cigarette lighter DC power supply so that you can use it in a car.

Optional equipment includes an AC/DC power supply, window-mount antenna bracket for home or office use and a carrying case. The main advantage to the Wilson amplifier is that it greatly improves data communication rates needed for the latest 3G technologies. It will increase data rates for users in weak signal areas and reduce dropped calls as well as disconnects by increasing cellular signal quality and range.

"This new SIGNALBOOST amplifier has been carefully engineered to significantly improve the performance of your cell phone and laptop data card in both vehicle and home/office applications," said Walt Brooks, Wilson Retail Sales Manager. "Using our new universal-connect signal coupler included with the amplifier, the SIGNALBOOST works with all cell phones and laptop data cards and attaches using a Velcro patch. There is no plug-in adapter required. We also have a mobile plug-and-play kit that includes a 4" mini magnet-mount external antenna."

The amplifier will work great on any kind of vehicle, with all generations of CDMA, TDMA, GSM and the latest high-speed data technologies. It also offers a variety of antenna options for mobile and in-building use. Wilson's amplifiers advanced circuitry design and high receive sensitivity allow them to receive weak signals that would normally go undetected by most mobile phones.
