14 DAY TRIAL // Just this week the Willow Smith photo scandal was put to rest by a Child Protection Services investigation, and both Will Smith and Jada Pinkett were cleared of any wrong-doing, that a new scandal has popped up in the media about the famous family.
Us Weekly reports that the family's two children, Willow and Jayden, are huge fans of snakes, and they have several in their rooms where they sleep, often crawling into bed with them, since they don't keep the animals in any enclosure.
An insider is shocked when he reports that Willow is “obsessed” with the creepy crawlers and that Jayden often “cuddles” with the reptiles in bed. “She has ten sleeping in her room!” the insider exclaims, adding that “some aren't even in cages!”
We find out from this disturbing report that Willow's obsession with snakes has been passed on to her brother, who now refers to his sister's pets as “his girlfriends,” which would explain why he takes them into bed with him.
Jada Pinkett admitted in a previous interview that she found her children's obsession with snakes strange, but she managed to live with it in the end, and she got used to even get used to them: “I've always loved snakes but was afraid of them.”
“Willow had wanted this one snake forever. She'd go into the pet store and pick it up and wrap it around her. I'd never touched a snake before, and I put out my hand, and Beauty [mimics the snake slithering up her arm]. I've been in love with her ever since. I said to Willow, ‘You did Mommy a big favor. You helped me overcome a fear,’” she explained to the public.
Unbelievably, Will Smith is also OK with having snakes crawling around the house. Apparently, it helps him overcome his fear of mice, or rather keeps it at bay. Since snakes are known to feast on mice, Will probably feels very safe knowing that there are always some reptiles around the house to keep any rodents away from the area.
“I'm good with snakes," he said. "Willow has a boa constrictor… but mice? Whew!” Will is quoted as saying last year.
This is surely going to transform into a whole new scandal, something which the Smith family is becoming accustomed to, after a photo of Willow Smith made its way in the media and caused an uproar. In the photo, the 13-year-old girl was pictured lying in bed with 20-year-old actor Moises Arias, who was shirtless at the time.
CPS determined that there was nothing inappropriate happening there at the time the photo was taken, and the case was closed.
