14 DAY TRIAL // The investigation that Child Protection Services have started regarding the photo scandal of Willow Smith, daughter of famous actors Jada Pinkett and Will Smith, has seen workers interview the 13-year-old Willow twice already, trying to determine if something inappropriate had taken place at the time.
After the photo of Willow lying in a bed with Moises Arias, a 20-year-old actor and friend of the family, was posted on social media, a scandal broke out as outraged parents pointed out that Moises was shirtless in bed with a 13-year-old, which they saw as completely inappropriate.
A source told Radar that “Willow was questioned on two separate occasions by social workers from Child Protective Services. Once in the presence of her parents, and the second time, Willow was alone with the social workers.”
“She made it clear that nothing inappropriate had happened with Moises. Moises has been friends with Willow and older brother Jaden, for years. The Smith's treat him as one of the family, and know he wouldn't take advantage of that trust,” added the source.
To an outsider, the photo can be considered as somewhat provocative, but the parents have insisted that there is nothing lewd going on there and any hint of improper behavior is only speculated by the media and people who are reading far too much in a simple pose.
Just to be clear, at the moment, “There have been no allegations of any wrongdoing or illegal activity by Moises. Moises is under no obligation to talk to authorities. Social workers just want to make sure there is proper adult supervision of the children in Will and Jada's house,” according to the insider.
It was Moises who first published the photo on his social media, but after seeing the outrage that it created and the media storm that ensued, he quickly took it down, but not before many parents got a good look at it. Many of them are still shaking their heads at Will and Jada's parenting skills.
It has been previously mentioned that the Child Protection Services Investigation had been started due to an anonymous tip and now workers are trying to determine the type of relationship between Willow and Moises, the actor best known for his role in the TV series “Hannah Montana.”
Jada Pinkett was the most outspoken about the entire scandal. When asked about the photo, she quickly brushed off any hint of inappropriate behavior: “Here's the deal. There was nothing [lewd] about that picture or that situation.”
The source concludes “This is how all investigations are handled. Both Will and Jada have also been questioned. At this point, the investigation remains open, and won't be closed for at least another few weeks.”
