Willow Smith Shaves Her Head

Willow Smith is done whipping her hair back and forth. Will and Jada Pinkett Smith's daughter and young pop singer Willow has shaved her head – and posted proof of it on Twitter.

Once boasting very long braids, the young hitmaker is now sporting a much cleaner hairstyle: literally, since she shaved it all off.

As noted above, Willow posted the photo on her WhoSay account on Twitter, but offered no explanations for the decision to go completely bald.

However, knowing her and how bent she is on being a trendsetter in all she does, she probably doesn't need to explain it for her fans: she just felt like it, and she acted accordingly.

Also on Twitter, Willow keeps her fans up to speed with her latest hobbies and how she spends her spare time. Apparently, she's quite fond of ballet classes.

While her decision to get such a close haircut is already getting the tabloids speculating about whether it has anything to do with the reported breakup of her famous parents, it could be that the change in looks wasn't even her call to make.

As a 2010 piece in Us Weekly informed, Willow has a stylist for quite some time, one that helps her pick out outfits, get dressed and, most importantly, who customizes everything for her.

This means that she probably has someone who does her hair too.

His name is Rob Zangardi and, as he puts it, he wants to make sure Willow is constantly involved in fashion and styling herself.

“We start off the design process sitting down with her and talking about what we wanted to make,” Zangardi said, adding that Willow used magazines and other “creative references” for inspiration.

Her age “allows her to have a little bit more fun and take more risks than an adult could. We just made her a 3-finger ring in diamond and gold,” he added, explaining how Willow's age worked in her favor.

As her fans must know, age also helped her experiment a lot with her hair since she broke into the spotlight.

Before today's buzz cut, Willow was actually rocking a very edgy 'do, with a faux mohawk and shaved sides.
