A new report claims that, despite the denial issued earlier today by Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, the two are really having some marital problems. However, they’re still hanging in there and putting separation last on their list. A few hours ago, InTouch came out with a story according to which the two actors, who have been married for 13 years, had
decided to seek a divorce.
Shortly afterwards, Will and Jada issued a joint statement to deny the report, saying their marriage was still “intact.” However, that’s not to say they’re not having issues,
TMZ has learned.
Apparently, the two have been having problems for quite a while but they’re determined to make divorce their last resort.
“Reports have been swirling that the couple has separated. We’re told it’s ‘definitely a possibility’ but they haven’t pulled the trigger,” TMZ writes.
“In fact, we’ve learned Will, Jada and their kids are going away together soon – as a family. Our sources would neither confirm nor deny if the trip is a last ditch effort to save the relationship,” the e-zine further says.
It goes on to say to note that the wording of the joint statement was odd at best, in that they did not go the “traditional PR route” of saying they’re still committed to the marriage and as in love as ever.
On the other hand, all rumors aside, Will and Jada are now believed to be talking with their legal representatives in order to take InTouch to court for printing the false story,
Radar Online has learned.
“Will and Jada are not splitting and they’ve already got their legal team involved. Like any other A-list couple they’re used to inaccurate reports sometimes, but when it comes to their marriage, they don’t appreciate anyone demeaning it,” a source familiar with the situation says.
Word online has it that, in the damning piece, InTouch also hinted that Jada had an affair with Marc Anthony and this is the real reason why he’s divorcing Jennifer Lopez – and her marriage to Will Smith came crumbling down.
