Recently, Jehuty fans found a reason to be delighted as rumors that Zone of the Enders 3 will be released in 2007 came out. According to UK games magazine PSM3, Zone of the Enders 3 will be available on PlayStation 3 in 2007. Konami, Zone of the Enders producer could not confirm this rumor started by PSM3, as a full announcement by Konami and Hideo Kojuma Studios is due next month.

Zone of the Enders, was developed by Konami in 2001 for PS2. Hideo Kojima played an important part in producing Z.O.E. Shortly after the launch for PS2, Konami released Zone of the Enders: The First of Mars meant for Game Boy Advance. The sequel, Zone of the Enders: The second Runner was released in 2003 on PlayStation 2.

The first part of the game, registered the biggest success mostly due to the included Metal Gear Solid 2 Demo.

Because of the success registered by the game, two anime series were produced: the first one was a film direct-to-video story entitled ZOE 2167 IDOLO which is set prior to the events of the first game. The second series was entitled ZOE Delores and was made up of 26 episodes.

Maybe the rumors are true, if not fans that are overflowing gaming forums posting their comments and expectations of the new game will be disappointed.
