Kings Plaza Shopping Center from Brooklyn was shut down after a flash mob of almost 400 teenagers trashed everything around them and violently started picking fights with each other. Shop attendants and customers were shocked by the amount of aggressiveness the youngsters were exhibiting.

Rumors spread around social media sites brought more than 400 teens to the shopping center in Brooklyn on the day after Christmas. In the evening, more and more 15 and 16-year-old teens piled up in the mall, gathering for something similar to a flash mob, which ended up with damaged goods and “Knock-Out” games.

The crazed youngsters started smashing candy jars, stealing cheap items from stores, harassing and beating up security guards. Rumors of teens with guns walking around the mall and violent beating games being unleashed on upper floors lead to store clerks locking themselves inside the shops.

Employees from Macy's, Victoria's Secret, and Mac hid inside after rolling down metal gates to protect themselves.

One teen filmed a part of the crazy riot on his phone and posted it online, and many more tweets and Facebook posts described the mall raid. “Kings Plaza was on tilt today” and “[Stuff] was crazy at Kings Plaza” posts were all over the social media.

The violent riot left mall workers terrified and scared for their lives. “I've been working here seven years and I have never seen anything like this before – I'm so scared. I know they will come back,” one clerk from Candy Plaza says, according to the New York Post. Others admitted begging the teens to stop and desperately trying to get them out of their shops.

After finally managing to control the situation, police officers are still trying to figure out what started the whole mall madness. No arrests were made and there were no major injuries reported, but the riot had the mall shut down for more than an hour.
