Only recently, a woman who set out to do some shopping on Chelmsford High Street in Essex got trampled by a wild deer that somehow got lost in this crowded urban area and went frantic trying to make an escape.

After her run-in with the terrified animal, this 24-year-old shopper had to be rushed to the hospital, where doctors took care of treating her facial lacerations and her black eye.

Sources quote eyewitness Joanna Tyzack, whose account of the incident was as follows: “I came out of Superdrug and saw a deer out of the corner of my eye. I thought I was seeing things as it ran into the corner of the high street - it must have been scared of the crowds.”

“The next thing I saw was it running off down the high street and a young woman lying on the floor in a pool of blood. She looked in quite a lot of pain,” Joanna went on to add.

Despite efforts to locate the deer, sedate it and return it to its natural habitat, local authorities failed to make head and tail of its current whereabouts.

Footage of the deer is made available to you in the video below.
