Some of the best classic games find their way to Nintendo's console on a weekly basis, and this week is no exception: the highly appreciated Mega Man, originally released on NES, was brought to Virtual Consoles, together with the NeoGeo golf simulation Neo Turf Masters. WiiWare will not be ignored either - Gameloft's Midnight Pool will definitely entertain every pool fan in the world. So it's going to be a busy week for Nintendo fans!

Midnight Pool is set in the liveliest bar settings across America and, as you probably know, it's the first complete pool game ever made available on WiiWare. Up to two players can compete against one another, no matter what their skill level is. As you might be anticipating, Midnight Pool fully uses the Wiimote and is 100% motion sensitive. The game also comes with all sorts of tutorials and trick-shot challenges, to keep you entertained for as much as possible. Everything for only 800 Points.

However, the undoubted star of this week's Wii Chanell release is Mega Man, the classic NES single player game that put everybody under its spell when it was originally released. You'll be able to join once again the blue bomber in his first-ever adventure as he battles the evil Dr. Wily and his robotic henchmen. Mega Man is a super-robot created by scientist Dr. Light to fight against Dr. Wily's robots who turned to the dark side. In just a few words: it's pure, classic platformer fun you definitely missed. The game only costs 500 Wii Points.

The latest game to be released on the Virtual Console this week is Neo Turf Masters, for 900 Wii Points. The original NeoGeo golf simulation was first released in 1996, but it surely has fans today, too. You'll have to pick one of six available golfers and compete on a number of golf courses around the world, including Japan, America, Australia and Germany. The game comes with two play modes (stroke and match) but you'll surely test them as soon as you grab it from the Virtual Console.
