14 DAY TRIAL // The Nintendo of America division of the video game hardware maker and publisher says that it will make sure that enough Wii U home consoles are available for sale in the United States, both for the rapidly approaching Black Friday and for the Christmas shopping period.
Reggie Fils-Aime, the president of NOA, is quoted by VG247 as saying that, “There will be some available – not only for Christmas. We’ll have more available on Black Friday in retail locations.”
Reports coming from various retail stores in the United States say that those who pre-ordered were able to pick up their new home console and add that new buyers have trouble locating new Wii U consoles in stores.
The device has been available since November 18, with a launch slate of 24 titles, and will be offered on November 30 in Europe and on December 8 in Japan.
