TeslaCoil Software, the team behind the popular Nova Launcher for Android 4.0 ICS devices has just delivered a new update for another of their highly-acclaimed application, WidgetLocker.

Aimed at Android users who want to get the most of their phone’s lock screens, WidgetLocker offers a wide range of customization options.

The latest version of the application brings a few bug fixes and tweaks that are meant to improve WidgetLocker’s stability and performance.

First and foremost, the application now offers support for selecting icon from Go Launcher icon packs, which wasn’t possible in previous versions.

The following changes and fixes have been added as well: Unread counts via TeslaUnread (supports Gmail); Fix rotation issue on some devices; Fix tint issue on some devices.

WidgetLocker 2.2.6 is now available as a free download through Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up.
