The developers of Wickr, the secure mobile messaging application, have launched a bug bounty program in which they’re prepared to hand out “generous amounts of money” to anyone who identifies and reports critical security issues.

For instance, experts who find a vulnerability that affects the integrity or confidentiality of user data will be rewarded with as much as $100,000 (€73,000). The rewards range between $10,000 (€7,300) and $100,000 (€73,000).

Anonymous submissions are not accepted, but there’s no age limit. In fact, the company highlights the fact that the beta version of the Android app was tested by the r00tz kids at the DEF CON security convention.

Security researchers can submit their findings to [email protected]. Additional details on Wickr’s bug bounty program are available on the company’s website.
